A stacked pair on an unlevel floor with the shipping bolts still in. Every one of those produces symptoms that look exactly like a broken appliance, and none of them is one. ### European appliances, American cabinetry This equipment is designed to metric openings and a lot of South Florida cabinetry is not, which is why replacing a built-in unit is more often a fitting job than a delivery. The two things worth checking before anything is bought are the opening and the ventilation clearance, and both take five minutes with a tape measure. ### High-rise realities Service elevators booked in advance, certificates of insurance filed with the building, hours the association allows work to happen. We deal with all of it routinely, and it is worth mentioning when you book so the appointment is made around it rather than despite it.
