Bosch dryer heating repair
Warm damp laundry after a full cycle, or no heat at all. On a condensation dryer these are different problems: one is usually air, the other is the heating circuit, and the machine does not always tell them apart.

How this visit actually goes
The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.

01
Every filter
There is more than one, and the secondary one is the one nobody knows about. A mesh sealed with fabric softener film looks clean and passes almost no air.

02
Where the water goes
A condensate hose kinked behind a stacked pair, or a tank that has never been emptied because nobody knew it was there. A dryer that cannot drain cannot dry.

03
The heating circuit
Measured. The manufacturer publishes a code for it, and that code means a technician rather than a home repair — this is the one circuit on the machine we would ask you not to open.

A real load, timed
Signed off against a load that actually dries in a normal cycle, not against an empty drum that gets warm.

Dryer heating repair cost
What it costs when a dryer stops heating — and why the first thing we check is the air path, which on a condensation dryer is behind more slow drying than the heating circuit is.
- Published range $150–$350
- Bosch heating parts run $210–$234 for the part alone
- Filters and the condensate path are checked first

24" compact · ventless Bosch dryer repair in Miami
The compact dryers are condensation machines — they take the water out of the air and put it down the drain rather than pushing it outside. Which is why they can live in a closet with no duct at all, and why "it takes forever to dry" is a different conversation on one of these than on a vented American dryer.
- Taking two cycles to dry a load
- Not heating at all
- Lint filter and condenser maintenance

About Bosch dryer heating repair
Air before heat
A condensation dryer cools its own exhaust, drops the water out of it and reheats what remains. Nothing goes outside. So the air path matters more than on a vented machine and there is more of it to block: the lint filter, a secondary filter, and on some models a condenser unit that needs rinsing.
The classic is a filter that has been rinsed for years and never scrubbed. Fabric softener leaves a film that seals the mesh; it looks clean, holds water when you pour it over, and passes almost no air.
Then the circuit
When the heating circuit itself has gone, the machine says so with a code, and the manufacturer's own guidance is that it is not a home repair. We agree with that one — it is a heating element and its safety devices in a sealed cabinet, and the failure modes are not forgiving.
After a storm
Electronics codes on laundry after a power cut are common here, and a fair share of them clear with the machine unplugged for a few minutes. If it comes back after that, it means something.

Questions about bosch dryer heating repair
It runs a whole cycle and things are still damp.
Start with air, not heat. These machines run longer than vented dryers by design, and a blocked filter or a kinked condensate hose will produce exactly this without any code at all.
It shows E06.
That is the heating circuit, and it is the one the manufacturer says needs a technician. Tell us the model and we will bring what it usually needs rather than diagnosing and coming back.
Should there be a vent behind it?
No. It condenses the moisture and sends it to the drain or a tank, which is what makes a laundry closet in a condo possible. It also warms the room slightly while it runs, which is normal.
