Starting figures, and what moves them

Bosch repair cost in Miami: the honest version.

Every figure here is a "from", and that is not a hedge — on this equipment the same code covers a filter you rinse by hand and an assembly that costs three hundred dollars. Each page says which is which, what the published market range is, and what would move yours within it.

  • 12 jobs with a published figure
  • from $95 diagnostic, credited to the repair
  • Written scope and price before we start
  • No final price without seeing it

Book a visit

Book a diagnostic visit

Your model number and a line about what it is doing is enough to get started. We will confirm the earliest slot we can genuinely keep.

  • Diagnostic from $95, credited toward the repair when you go ahead
  • The work and the price in writing before anything is opened
  • A warranty on our workmanship
  • Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties
  1. 01 You tell us the model and what the unit is doing. A photo of the display helps.
  2. 02 We come back with the earliest slot we can genuinely keep, not the earliest one that sounds good.
  3. 03 Diagnosis on site, then the scope and the price in writing before anything is opened.

By job

What each repair starts at

And what would take yours above it. The exact cost is confirmed on site, once the appliance has been seen and the scope agreed with you.

  • Diagnostic visit cost in Miami

What a first visit costs, and why it is the only honest way to price a repair. The fee is credited toward the work when you go ahead, so on a job we carry out it is not an extra line.

    • Credited toward the repair when you approve it
    • The code read and the condition reproduced
    • A second appliance at the same address costs less than a second visit
    What moves this figure
  • Dishwasher drain repair cost in Miami

What it costs to get a dishwasher draining again — and how often it turns out to cost nothing but the visit, because the filter and the pump cover come out by hand.

    • Published range $100–$250 for a drain pump
    • A blocked filter costs the visit and no more
    • The pump is usually a same-visit part
    What moves this figure
  • Dishwasher heating and drying repair cost in Miami

What it costs when a dishwasher is not getting hot — and why the most common version of "it is not drying" on this brand costs nothing at all.

    • Wet plastics is the design, not a repair
    • Descaling first where the machine has asked for it
    • The heat pump is the expensive end of the machine
    What moves this figure
  • Control board replacement cost in Miami

The most expensive single part on most of this equipment, and the most-guessed diagnosis in the trade. What it costs, and why we would rather rule it out than fit one.

    • Published range $200–$500 across appliances
    • Power and harness measured before anything is ordered
    • Several boards need configuring to the model after fitting
    What moves this figure
  • Refrigerator sealed system repair cost in Miami

The one figure on this site that does not follow the brand. Sealed system work is hours of skilled labor and recovered refrigerant, and it costs the same on a mainstream refrigerator as on a luxury one.

    • Published range $600–$1,400
    • Everything cheaper ruled out first
    • Compressor replacement $700–$1,250 where it comes to that
    What moves this figure
  • Ice maker and water repair cost in Miami

What it costs to get ice and water working again — and why booking while the machine is still making some ice is materially cheaper than waiting until it makes none.

    • Published range $100–$225 for a repair
    • A filter or air in the line costs nothing
    • Replacing the module runs $250–$600
    What moves this figure
  • Washer drain and pump repair cost in Miami

What it costs when a washer will not drain, and why the pump filter behind the flap at the front means a good share of these end without a part.

    • Minor laundry repairs run $150–$300
    • The pump filter is owner-serviceable
    • Access on a stacked pair is the variable
    What moves this figure
  • Dryer heating repair cost in Miami

What it costs when a dryer stops heating — and why the first thing we check is the air path, which on a condensation dryer is behind more slow drying than the heating circuit is.

    • Published range $150–$350
    • Bosch heating parts run $210–$234 for the part alone
    • Filters and the condensate path are checked first
    What moves this figure
  • Oven repair cost in Miami

What it costs when an oven will not heat, will not hold temperature, or bakes unevenly. Three different repairs with three different figures, and calibration is sometimes the whole answer.

    • Sensor $100–$250, element $150–$450
    • Calibration is the cheapest outcome and checked first
    • Getting a built-in oven out is much of the labor
    What moves this figure
  • Cooktop glass replacement cost in Miami

The one repair we check availability for before booking, because on some models the glass is not sold separately at all — and the published range reaches four figures for a reason.

    • Published range $200–$1,000
    • Glass is specific to the exact model
    • Sometimes the honest answer is that it is not repairable
    What moves this figure
  • Range hood repair cost in Miami

The cheapest appliance on this site to repair, and the one most often fixed with a filter rather than a part. What each of the four possible problems costs.

    • Fan motors run $100–$250
    • Filters are a consumable, not a repair
    • The outside cap is checked from outside
    What moves this figure
  • Appliance installation cost in Miami

What it costs to fit a replacement into an opening built for something else, stack a laundry pair, or put right an installation that has been causing problems since the day it was done.

    • Measured before anything is ordered
    • Stacking kits are pair-specific, not universal
    • Run and watched before we leave

Why no exact number

One code, two repairs, three hundred dollars apart.

This manufacturer publishes what its codes mean, which is rare and genuinely useful. What a published cause names is a circuit rather than a component: the dishwasher drain code covers a filter, a pump, a cover left loose, a kinked hose and an air gap. Four of those five cost you a visit. One of them is a part.

A number quoted over the phone has to assume one of those, and it will be either padded to cover the worst case or too low to honor once the panel is off. So the diagnostic settles it, the scope and price are written down, and nothing is opened until you have agreed to them.

What makes a repair cheaper

Four things that genuinely move the figure down

None of them are tricks. They are the things that shorten a visit or remove a part from it.

Book early

  • Slow ice, slow drying and a machine draining sluggishly are all cheaper than the same problems finished
  • A scale code acted on is a service; ignored for a year it is the heat pump

Do the free checks

  • Filters, drain covers, panel locks and five minutes off at the breaker
  • A photograph of the code and the model number before you call

Want a range before you book?

Send the model number and the code.

With those two things we can usually name the likely causes and the range they sit in, on the phone, before anyone drives anywhere. What we will not do is name a final figure for an appliance we have not seen — that is how people end up paying for a part that was never the problem.

Call 1-11-111-11, or use the form above.

A written price before anything is opened.

The diagnostic comes off the bill when you go ahead, so on a job we carry out it is not an extra line.
