Bosch cooktop & induction repair
A zone that switches itself off, a panel that will not respond, or a code about supply voltage. Most of what an induction top does when something is wrong is protect itself — and telling that apart from a failure is most of this job.

The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.

01
Protection or failure
Overheat, time limit, hot pan on the panel, panel lock — every one has its own code and every one is the appliance working. Half these calls end here.
-
02
The ventilation gap
The one under the counter that the installation instructions specify and a full drawer removes. A top that cuts out reliably after twenty minutes at high power is usually being suffocated.
-
03
Supply, if the code says supply
The voltage code is about the building, not the cooktop. We measure it rather than replacing anything, and sometimes the answer is an electrician.
-
04
Then the electronics
The generator module, the coil and the wiring between them. Modules are the expensive half of this appliance and worth diagnosing rather than swapping.

Induction · gas · electric · 24"–36" Bosch cooktop repair in Miami
Induction, gas and radiant electric cooktops, plus the professional rangetops. Most of what an induction top does when something is wrong is protect itself — it switches a zone off, shows a code and waits — and telling that apart from a failure saves a great many visits.
- A zone switching itself off mid-cook
- Controls locked or unresponsive
- Codes about supply voltage
-
Gas · dual-fuel · electric · induction Bosch range repair in Miami
Slide-in and free-standing ranges in all four fuel configurations. A range is two appliances in one chassis — a cooktop and an oven that share a control board — and knowing which half is misbehaving is most of the diagnosis.
- Burners that will not light or hold
- Oven not reaching temperature
- Display codes that cover both halves

About Bosch cooktop & induction repair
Most codes here are the appliance protecting itself
An induction cooktop is a set of coils and a lot of power electronics under a sheet of glass, and every protection it has comes with its own published code: the zone too hot for the work surface, the electronics too hot, hot cookware left standing over the control panel, a zone left running untouched for hours. In each case something switches off and waits. It reads as a failure and it is the opposite.
The ventilation gap
These need the air gap the installation instructions specify, and the two things that most often remove it are a kitchen refitted around an existing cooktop and a drawer beneath it packed to the top. A top that has been overheating for a year eventually stops doing it politely.
Gas and rangetops
Gas tops speak a different language — an igniter clicking without catching, a burner cap a millimeter out of position, blocked ports after a boil-over, a flame lifting off the burner. The useful information is whether it is one burner or all of them: one is the burner, all of them is upstream.

Questions about bosch cooktop & induction repair
A zone turns itself off after twenty minutes on high.
That is the overheat protection. Under the glass is a good deal of electronics that needs somewhere to send its heat — and a drawer packed to the top under the cooktop is the usual reason it cannot.
The controls do nothing.
Check the panel lock first — four seconds on the lock key. It engages by accident constantly, from a wet cloth, a boil-over or a pan set down on the touch keys. A wet panel does the same without locking.
What does U400 mean?
The supply voltage is outside the range the cooktop will run in. That is a building or utility question rather than an appliance one, and it is worth knowing before you book a repair for it.
